I had all this left over egg nog from the holidays, so I went looking for something yummy to make.  Egg nog cake sounded like just the ticket.  Boy was I wrong!

Whether it was the fact that I used light egg nog instead of full fat, or because I used cake flour instead of all-purpose, I don’t know.  What  I do know is the glutenous, obnoxiously noggy, pasty yellow result was inedible.

So, even though it sounds like a good idea, beware the egg nog cake.
