Brie on Croute is a go to for parties, but tends to look pretty unappetizing once you cut into it. This alternative creates individual brie appetizers and features my Saucy Cranberries.
Pepperidge Farms Pastry Cups, 2 packages
1 President brie log
1 cup Saucy Cranberries, warm
How I Made It:
Bake the pastry cups according to the instructions on the box. While they are baking, slice the brie log into 12 discs of equal thickness (you can also slice it into 24 pieces and double stack in your appetizers).
When they are done, immediately move them to the (heat resistant) serving tray. Pop the tops off with a fork. Place a piece of brie in the pastry cup. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the top. If you are double stacking, add another piece of brie and spoonful of cranberries to fill the pastry.
Serve warm, so that the brie is soft and a little gooey.
